MISSION:
The chemistry department's Analytical Services group provides IR, NMR, and MS service and support for researchers both within the department and at VPI&SU. Our mission is to train graduate and undergraduate students in the operation of spectroscopic instruments, to aid researchers in the collection and interpretation of spectroscopic data, and to maintain departmental spectroscopic instrumentation.
