Career Path
Dr. Jenny Filbey is currently Vice President of Business Development at Nektar Therapeutics. She was previously the Executive Director of Business and Market Development at Nobek and had been a key contributor to the Company's growth through identifying and closing business agreements with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies that leverage Nobex technology and products. Before joining Nobex, Dr. Filbey led a protein drug delivery group for Aventis Research and Technology in Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to that assignment, Dr. Filbey directed a number of commercial polymer projects and related new business development at Hoechst Celanese in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Filbey did post-doctorate work at the CNRS, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, in Mulhouse, France.
