Please be certain to download both the prelab assignment as well as the lab lecture. You will need the lecture notes to fill in the blanks during lecture.
If you have visited this website and have downloaded any of the previous materials, please disregard them. They were left from last summer's class. The current versions are now correct.
If you have any questions, feel free to email your TA or myself.

The prelab for Lab 2 is rather long, but that will be compensated for in points. You should get accustomed to this format for prelabs, i.e. structures and hazards, a couple of questions straight from the book, and a couple of "think" questions.
Get to know your TA or myself, you will definitely be seeing a lot of us.

The written portion of this prelab is in the normal file. It looks long, but except for 3 or 4 questions, they are all very short answer. There is a supplementary which I highly recommend you download and work out before you get into lab.
This lab is very, very important to your understanding of organic chemistry. It is one of the most fundamental concepts, yet one of the hardest concepts to understand. Please do not take it lightly. Talk to your TA or myself about it if you are having trouble. We are here to help.

Lab 6 is very easy. You should have gone over everything in lecture. If you have a molecular modeling kit, bring that to lab.
Prelab 6 is in powerpoint format, since it's easier to read the boxes. Fill in each box by answer the questions and following the flow chart.
