Students are nominated by the research supervisor and approved for the award by the Undergraduate Committee. Erika Bechtold was recognized for her excellence in undergraduate research.

  • Analytical Chemistry Award

The Division of Analytical Chemistry of the American Chemical Society provides an Undergraduate Award in Analytical Chemistry to a chemistry major to recognize students who do well in college-level analytical chemistry. This year the award, which consists of a certificate, $100-, an honorary membership in the Divisuon of Analytical Chemistry, and a subscription to the journal Analytical Chemistry, goes to Joseph Zadrozny.

  • CRC Freshman Chemistry Achievement Award

For many years the Chemical Rubber Company Press has provided undergraduate awards in Freshman Chemistry to recognize outstanding scholastic achievement in first-year college chemistry.
