Completed fifty-two years at Searle/Monsanto/Pharmacia/Pfizer. Twelve years was in bench Medicinal Chemistry (26 patents from this work). Thirty-eight years in the structural determination of organic compounds with emphasis on NMR, and supervision of a group of 20-34 employees in Physical Methodology doing Metabolomics by NMR.

Author of two books on the interpretation of NMR:

• Interpretation of NMR Spectra An Empirical Approach (1965)
• Guide to the NMR Empirical Method (1967)

Taught more than 80 short courses in the applications and interpretation of NMR spectra in organic chemistry.
